Our grandest adventure started in 2017. From the start of our relationship, we traveled every weekend. Either Vince would drive to Fargo, De would drive to Ankeny or we would meet somewhere in the middle. Eventually, jobs and miles couldn’t keep us apart and Vince sold his house and took a new job and we settled in one location, Fargo. This move was not the start of us but the lifelong commitment of us.
Other than Fargo or Ankeny, our early travels took us to St. Louis, Chicago, San Francisco, and Park City (Utah), to name a few. We shared quiet meals, nice bottles of wine and many excursions full of laughter and love. From the hiking in Utah mountains (who needs a stinking map), to the vineyards of Napa Valley, to the baseball diamonds in Arizona and throughout Iowa – we walk hand in hand, at our own pace and in the style in which Vince has taught me to cherish.
Along the way, we have maintained a map with stickers of all the states we have visited. Our next outstanding adventure will take us to Italy and France for a two week honeymoon. Our goal with this blog is to share our journeys with our family and friends. Our hope is to not have it end with our European trip but to only be the beginning.
