Med Cru 2025 – Day 9 – Tunisia

First visit to the continent of Africa!

Our tour today brought us to two communities in Tunisia – Medina of Tunis and Sidi Bousaid.

The first was narrow walkways through town that wound in and out. It was interesting as we looked at many plain doorways only to discover large courtyards beyond the door.

Sidi Bousaid was up on a hill and all the homes were painted white with blue doors, shutters and accents.

The merchants in Tunisia were very different than other ports. They were much more assertive and nearly beg people to look at their goods.

Wrinkles’ Grand Adventure

This port was so much fun as Wrinkles got to watch two tug boats bring a big ship into port. One pulled and the other either pushed or guided the ship left or right.

So cool!
